Personal Reflections

When looking back on the halloween show i feel like the production and content of the production was up to a good standard for live radio broadcast.

I enjoyed working alongside everyone on the Headspace team to produce this Halloween special, we came together quite well and worked hard on this production. the content produced for the production worked well together i think that everything went smoothly and tied together quite well and flowed through the show great.

from the begin we spoke about putting a paranormal as of course it is a halloween show but we also wanted to get different take on this so that different ages could also listen in and think about what kind of costumes they would want to wear.

I had at this point contacted Adam Spencer Young, to talk to him about a possible interview, we then confirmed the interview and began to compile a number of questions together to keep our information unbiased towards religions and sceptics and to get a good mix of what Ghost Tours UK does and how you can get involved with working with them as well as how different aspects of paranormal investigations work and the experience that you can have with them. when actually conducting the interview i felt like the recording its self was very well produced and the editing was done very well i would say that the levels on Adam Young would have had to be turned up just a little bit more so that there would be more clarity within his voice.

from this i helped record the interview at party planet the local party store in the centre of Lincoln. we went around the store and began to notice that some of the objects for sale would make noises or jump out when we walked past, we decided to record these to add into a sting to play just before the interview was broadcasted during the live show, this worked well, once we got into the interview, we began to talk about the store itself and its collections.
